Electrical and Computer Team

 Solar Array
Design, Modelling, and Layout of the Solar Array is completed. Currently different materials are being tested for encapsulation of the Array. Array mounting to begin soon - Encapsulation method finalized.

 Battery Array
Currently we are testing our vehicle with lead acid and NiMH batteries but will be using Lithium Ion Batteries for competition. Design and modelling of battery array is completed. Currently an automated battery safety system is being designed. Honda TREP funding has been distributed and we are now able to afford our batteries!

 Controls
The Controls system along with the driver interface has finished desgin. Some construction has has begun but is currently slowed due to the new task of programming our microcontroller. Since the majority of our car will be controlled and monitored from the microcontroller, this has become an enormous task and will last for another few months.
